Canarian Island

Our next destination is Canary Islands, an Spanish archipelago located in the Atlantic ocean. The Canaries are a group of volcanic island. That have 7 volcanoes, and the highest one is the Teide.

 

This archipelago and its luxurious places are visited by germans and britanic turist but also by spanish turist.  

We can get to this Canaries in different ways, but we will try to do it as ecological as possible. 

The Cadiz-Santa Cruz de Tenerife ferry rute connects Spain with the Canary Island and it has a sailing duration from aroung 49 hours.

But our destination is Gran Canaria. This time we will take a sailboat and  The trip will be 3 hours. To arrive to Galdar´s port. 

We have choosed "Casa Rural Cueva Verde" to spend one night because this hotel is very cheap, green and has a very good service. 

The next morning we are going to take a bus with anothers turist to reduce pollution,Las Palmas where we will spend a few days visiting entertainment and cultural places. 

We will stay in "Miami Suites Santa Catalina Hostal". 

We will move around the city by bikes because is more ecological than by car. The famous Canary dessert "Polvito Uruguayo" is made in the most typical restaurant in the city called Tasca Galileo.

 If we were football lovers, we would visit "Estadio de Gran Canaria" (Las Palmas Stadium). Where the U.D. Las Palmas plays official matches 

 We can not leave this wonderfull island without visiting its beaches. If you are going to eat something while you are on the beach, you musn´t  leave your trash on the sand. You have to put it in the litter  

Its the end of our journey and we will go back home by ferry.
